Professional Book Cover Design: Process and Fees

My expertise lies in providing professional, sophisticated, unique designs that will help a book stand out in a crowded marketplace.

I work with many independent authors. In addition to the design aspect of the project, I offer guidance on navigating the printing side of the publishing process, which many of my clients have found invaluable.

My process is as follows:

• We’ll begin with an initial discussion about your book, your goals, and any ideas you might have about the cover.
   

• Once I receive your manuscript, I aim to read as much as time allows. I’ll then present you with at least three unique cover directions.
   

• Next, we'll discuss any changes you’d like and work towards a final cover.
   

• I will also prepare fully designed layout(s) of the front, spine, and backad for whichever printer you’ve decided to work with. I’ll also prepare the eBook cover.

My fee is $1100, and I offer discounts for series books or multiple projects.
